The energy sector is the backbone of any economy, and in India, it plays a crucial role in supporting the nation's growth and development. Within the energy sector, Operational Technology (OT) refers to the hardware and software used to monitor and control physical processes and infrastructure. These processes include electricity generation, distribution, transmission, and energy storage, as well as oil and gas production, refining, and distribution.

As India's energy sector undergoes digital transformation and embraces automation, OT systems are increasingly becoming interconnected with Information Technology (IT) systems to optimize operations, enhance efficiency, and support real-time decision-making. However, this integration has led to a growing cybersecurity concern, as OT systems become potential targets for cyberattacks that could have catastrophic impacts on critical infrastructure, the environment, and public safety.

Keeping in mind the above scenario we are pleased to announced Global OT Cybersecurity Summit in Energy Sector (GOTS 2025), being organized during 16-17 July 2025 at Pride Plaza Hotel, Aerocity, New Delhi, India.

This event brings together industry experts, cybersecurity professionals from energy sector, government bodies, and thought leaders to discuss the current challenges, best practices, and innovative solutions for securing OT systems in the Indian Energy sector. We aim to create a platform to explore emerging cybersecurity risks and share strategies to protect this vital industry against evolving threats.
